        It is actually quite easy to switch PDC's: Just go into Server Manager,
select the desired server, and then under the "Computer" menubar item
select "Promote to Primary Domain Controller.

        WARNING: Do this during off-hours, and be sure to synchronize domain
controllers. Otherwise, 95 and NT clients can have all sorts of login
problems with "Domain Controller not found" error messages.

        Also, do NOT confuse an NT Domain with a *nix domain (like we all use with
the Internet). In fact, you can have a separate NT domain riding on the
same wires as a *nix domain! (I did this at a college when I wanted to
provide security amongst a bunch of students so they could trade files in
privacy!)
