Yuck! Making the digest HTMLized would really really irritate people
that read their mail with non-HTMLized clients. (People whine when
one person sends a message that's got HTML. Imagine the uproar if the
whole digest came this way.)

Well, the digests _ARE_ MIME digests -- that is, a mail client that
_properly_ handles MIME digests will show you the digest as a
"folder" that you should be able to browse through and jump to a
specific message as needed.

Anybody else out there using Netscape 4.5b2 for Mac know how it deals
with digests.
