Dear Dan,

I am glad you have corrected your error in regards to Mac OS X
(which I can't wait to get my hands on, by the way ;-))

I also agree with you on the tremendous amount of goodwill that
Apple would get if it could deliver its best OS to the 604 line.
However, I disagree with your statement saying: "the dozens of 604-based
...[systems]... I have recommended and installed are soon going
> to be commercially obsolete." The Mac OS continues and will continue
> to be improved for at least another two years, so a 604 system will
> still be able to run Apple's latest OS well into the year 2000.

Lastly, please keep in mind that the purpose of this list is to exchange
information about integrating Macintosh and Windows systems. Excuse me
if I am harsh, but I feel that rants and emotionally-charged comments
are out of place.

Please keep on sharing your technical expertise and your opinions. I
assure you they are appreciated and sought after.
