        Dear Christopher & Beth...

Is the *real* reason for your wanting to buy more copies of QX 3.32 that
your printers don't accept QX4 files? :)

HINT: Take a closer look at PageMaker 6.52. In the days when Aldus & Quark
competed head to head, both companies tried to curry favor from Adobe,
which developed and constantly enhances PostScript.® [Remember, both QX &
PM convert what you see on the screen (such as QuickDraw) to a series of
PostScript commands.]

Things changed about 3 years ago when Adobe swallowed up Aldus: Now Quark
is on the "outside looking in." If this story seems a bit familiar, you're
right: Just as M$ has wound Internet Explorer tightly into their OS'
leaving Netscape on the outside, so has Adobe done the same thing with
PageMaker & PostScript.

        Just my 2 cents worth...
