Apple just introduced a new G3 server Mac that comes with AppleShare IP 6.

With 20 Macs and 5 Windows PC, I would go with AppleShare IP 6. NT's
support of Macs is not as good as its support of Windows, and its support
of printing for Macs is downright terrible.

On the other hand, AppleShare IP 6 support of Windows is good -- native
SMB file sharing, no software to install on the Windows machines. For the
Macs, ASIP 6 supports AppleShare over IP, which is quite a bit faster
than AppleShare over AppleTalk. NT does not support AppleShare over IP.

If you want to see some of the problems that exist with NT and Macs, take
a look at the MacWindows Web site. There are two pages that list problems
and solutions:

http://www.macwindows.com/servtips.html (this page has problems and
solutions)
http://www.macwindows.com/NTunsolv.html (this is the NT Unsolved
Mysteries page -- there are no know solutiosn to these.)
