RE: [WinMac] Macs Printing Past NT Security

Well, the problem with going the DAVE route is that only the 2 Macs that I
have control over are authenticated to NT. What I want to achieve is to have
all Macs (PowerBooks in particular) authenticate to NT, no matter if they
have DAVE installed or not.

                If you are using DAVE,I believe you don't need to enable the
Macintosh Print
                server, disable it using the services control panel, you
probably don't need
                services for macintosh at all.

                I dont use DAVE, so I may be wrong, but if you are using
SMB, I see no
                reason to enable appletalk on the NT server.

                (I,m changing our file/print servers to Linux
/Samba/NetAtalk where
                approprate.)
