[WinMac] Re: Problems with PC Floppy Disks

On 24 Sep 98 Graeme Costin reported a problem with copying files from the
Mac to a PC-formatted floppy disk.

The diskette might indeed have bad sectors. Have you used the Disk First
Aid (or Norton or TechTool Pro) to verify and repair the diskette before
you write files on it? You might also use the Erase disk... command from
the Mac's Special menu to clean and reformat a disk before writing anything
to it.

It might also be that the PC is simply not reading its own disk format
properly, which can happen. But I don't have any cures for that.
