I have the same problem trying to format the disks in either format, Mac
or PC; my Mac is just waaay too picky about formatting floppies. I just
wish it was a bit faster about checking them...it'll take three minutes
formatting a disk then a minute or two verifying it, only to spit it
out.

They'll format all right on the PC, with no bad sectors, and once
formatted. most of the time they work perfectly fine on the Mac

Of course, since I'm both cheap and a sysadmin, most of the floppies I
try to use are from our endless mailed supply of AOL disks and demo
freebies, which I'm _sure_ has nothing to do with it ;-)
