That's what is advertised, but I have never seen it work.

We need a cross

When I go to a Mac, and try to look at one of many calendars we have set up
for our organization, the Calendar does not display like it should. Instead
of a daily/weekly/monthly view, the calendar appears as an in-box with all
the scheduled events showing up as mail. Now, it IS possible to use this,
but I hardly consider it satisfactory since you can't tell at a glance when
your meetings are, what your day's schedule it, etc

We have exchange server 5.5 SP1, and the Mac is running Mac Outlook for
exchange 5.5 SP1 -- in other words this is all the latest and greatest
software and it is not working.

Does anyone know of any other truly cross platform calendar

I have not worried too much about this problem since we only have 5 macs and
users are always notified of meetings via regular email, but for what it's
worth Netscape's beta of Communicator 4.5 is supposed to support "enterprise
calendaring"

At my last 2 jobs they used a piece of software called MeetingMaker XP,
which is a dedicated server-based system for scheduling meeting in
conference rooms and the like. It was truly cross-platform though the
interface on the mac was completely different than on the PC, so you had to
learn how to use it twice, but it DID WORK. Now that i see their website,
they have a new version of the SW out so maybe the ugly mac interface has
been updated...
