I am able to download and install software via Virtual PC from a shared
CD on our Windows NT network, so I supposed the answer is "yes." We're on
ethernet and I've had no problems accessing those CDs. Virtual PC cannot
address more than 64 MB RAM, so allocating more is just a waste of good
chips.
