When you say "administer" do you mean use it as your primary server? So
you can administer them remotely?
If so, I would suggest getting that machine above and run NT Server
4.0 software on it. As much as Iove Macs (and I love them to death) NT is
much more robust when it comes to remote operations and security and
networking, sorry but that's the truth. NT will even let you administer
your Novell server (you have to buy an additional piece of software but
once you do it will even let you use the NT user permissions and apply
them to folders on the Novell servers so that you can do all your
administration from a centralized place). With NT you can even restart
machines remotely and configure them as necessary. It will also allow you
to setup profiles for your different users to maintain heterogeny.

the Mac has none of these capabilities... yet.
