Recently confronted the Quark database issue from the outside. Our Graphic
artist had Quark and we had a File Maker Pro File and we wanted to merge
them. Not very easy from the outside. Basically, we exported the select
set in the order we wanted to text files (.txt), then imported them into
Quark and manually applied style sheets. I would not recommend it.
Filemaker and Quark talk about being able to run Apple Script for such
actions, but I have yet to find a working demo/ even shareware which does
it. I suppose learning both FM and Quark veriations on apple script would
work, but it seems like a lot of work to me.
