You don't see the PC because it is not using protocols that the Mac can
understand (Appletalk) and vice versa. PCs use TCP/IP, NetBUEI or IPX/SPX
to run their NetBIOS protocol which is like Appletalk.
If you have one PC, the cheapest way to go might be just buying a
software that will run Appletalk stacks from the PC. COPSTALK and PC
MacLan will provide this (the latter may be the better choice, I'v had a
lot of problems with COPSTalk). Be aware however that there are issues
running these pieces of software (READ THE MANUALS), they *can* cause
headaches.

The problem with this scenario is you'd have to buy 2 copies of DAVE (a
wonderful product) if you wanted both Macs to see the PC, whereas if you
load software on the PC it's cheaper.
