i hate to belabor the point any more than necessary, but this is
absolutely untrue. There are _no_ POP/SMTP servers that i know of
that have a "setting" that lets you toggle HTML mail on or off. HTML
mail is strictly a client issue.

SMTP and POP merely manage the passing of messages, _not_ the content.

_Don't_ speak to your admin person. He's already busy enough. :}
