Heh, yeah, I suppose you're right <grin> :-). Well with the NT Services for
Macintosh I think I've really eliminated the need to use PCMacLAN, 95 or NT
version. I've setup a file server on the NT Box that can be accessed on the
Mac and in Windows. It's a 2GB Volume and I think that's how I'm going to
do all file sharing. PCMacLAN, COPSTalk, and Dave all seem to have little
quirks that always frustrate me. This file or that file doesn't convert
properly, the file name always messes up. NT has been pretty clean, so I
think that's eliminated some of my problems. As far as printing is
concerned, I print to a LaserWriter Select 360. It's not a network printer
so right now it's connected to an LC 575 with a LaserWriter bridge. The
Macs can print using that. The PCs can print through the NT box to the
LaserWriter. It works beautifully and has increased speed substantially.

My only real problem is that I would like the Macs to use the NT box to
print so that I can have print server functionality, not just a bridge.
This would involve plugging the LaserWriter directly into the NT box. Well,
when I did that and print from the PCs, no problem. Printing from the macs,
however, turns out a good first page and then junk for a few more pages.
Apparently others have had this problem too. Any ideas!?!?!?
