[WinMac] VPC 2 Upgrade from New

I have VPC 2.0 CD supplied free because I bought a new G3. However I
already had VPC 1 and I've customised the "C:" drive container considerably
so I don't want to have to do it all over again. Connectix's instructions
assume everyone in my position will have the VPC 2.0 Upgrade CD which has a
program - VPC Upgrader - not present on the full product. Has anyone been
down this route and if so do you know how make their program upgrade my
existing disk instead ?
