I'm trying to get and install the new AVI codecs under Virtual PC.

Intel's web site provides what seems to be the software - iv5play.exe -
but when I run it, or try to run it, on Virtual PC 95 (version 2.01), the
program opens in a DOS window and (aargh!) tells me that it won't run
under DOS.

Is there a way to tell it to run as a Windows application? Is there
something else, obvious or subtle, that I may be missing?
