I currently use ARA Client 3.0. I used to use OT/PPP.

Yep.

I've never tried it, to be honest, because there really is no "ARA
Client" application anymore. Under 3.0, ARA is a control panel that looks
exactly like the OT/PPP control panel. When you install it, it
automatically imports your OT/PPP configurations, and you manually import
your existing ARA documents.

Yep. Although then you'd run into the modal dialog again.
