The Mac only list I monitor wasnąt any help with this. WinMac is where I
probably should have posted in the first place.

Our church is "committed" to "upgrading" from our Quadra & IIsi computers
to a mixture of iMacs (for publications & media) and PC's (for other
functions) based around a NT 4.0 BackOffice server. Obviously I think
that a full Mac upgrade would be superior but that's a topic for another
post.

I have experience using Dave on a single Mac connecting to a NT server at
Work so I understand many of the logistics.

I'd like you experience and advice in these areas:

1) Do I need Dave for every Mac (5 or 6 of them) or should I take a
different approach to attachment. We need to share files on the server,
but not necessarily on every machine.

2) Can the Mac's Appleshare to each other directly or do we do it through
the server?

3) Recommendations for e-mail client software (I'd love to use Emailer
but it won't connect to the Exchange server). The default will probably
be Outlook Express since it's already available with Office'98 and the
PC's are most likely going that way.

4) Recommendations for scheduling software - Since the server is Exchange
and the PC's are going to use Outlook it would be nice to use Outlook on
the Mac - but this is not available, yet for scheduling. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance,

Dean
