Hi Brian,
I don't think you can get there from here.
As far as I am aware, the infrared port on the PB1400 is not an IrDa port
and no one has managed to make it communicate with IrDa printers. It can be
used to transmit data to other PB 1400s but that seems to be it. The IrDa
compliance came with later PBs. I was aware of this before I bought my PB
1400 and have not ever regretted buying it but still hope that someone
somewhere will have a software solution.

Hi,

I am a newbie to the list and have a question that unfortunately requires a
quick response time. I am in the process of buying a Citizen PN60i printer
for my PB 1400. The PB has an IrDa (infrared) port and so does the PN60i
printer, but the dealer is in doubt as to whether the PB and printer can
talk together despite the Mac kit for the printer. Has anyone had any
experience with IrDa port printers and is there a problem and a possible
solution???
