Because VirtualPC and the Mac environment need each need their own unique
IP address, you won't be able to use IP in the VPC environment with this
setup. That is because the Vicom Gateway acts as a pseudo-bootp server for
localtalk nodes, so it isn't possible to have two IP addresses. I don't
know about SoftWindows, but you may have better luck there, as the older
versions at least didn't require their own IP address (I don't think - it's
been awhile).
