Yes they can, it's just not integrated. You use the MacFile menu in
winfile.exe to do the Mac sharing then share the same directory as a Win
share. We do this for transferring files between Macs & PCs.

Otherwise I agree with you about the pros & cons of AppleShare vs. NT servers.
