We are having the same problem. We have been using NUTD and Contact for
a couple years and it does mostly what it's supposed to, but now some of
my users are pushing for Windows.
Qualcomm has purchased Now Software and is developing NUTD and Contact
v4.0, which has been renamed Eudora Planner. The big change is that it
is supposed to be truly cross-platform - you can have a Windows OR Mac
server that will serve to BOTH Windows and Mac clients. The Windows
version is out but the Mac version probably not until 4th quarter this
year.
It is now in public beta (http://eudora.qualcomm.com/betas/planner/) and
there is a BIG change to the look and feel, and many changes in
functionality. We are not happy with the results and are looking for
another solution.
We are looking at Meeting Maker XP
(http://WWW.ON.Com/prodinfo/mm/descript.htm) which is a calendar program
with some contact management features. Does anyone have any experience
with this package?
