The mysterious B. Traven wrote the book that John Huston based his movie upon. As you can see, Huston's screenplay didn't stray too far from the original text. Thanks to Ral Sandberg for reminding me of this fact. (The rec.arts.movies-past-films FAQ also makes mention of this.) |
